3 years ago I also have this problem. It used it successfully in Heist and again at the start of Ritual, but then it suddenly stopped to work without me (to my knowledge) changing anything.

Trying to run the app, will not run even once. Game open or closed.
Killed my antivirus as that was the first issue.
I've tripple checked everything but I have no idea what i'm doing wrong.
I do use the steam client so I'm in the process of downloading the regular to try that.
Ive tried to hard code the location for the filter as well as leaving it blank.
Have tried standard league as well same error
Have tried all 3 .exe files

The app will read, update, and then save an updated filter to your filters directory ("Documents\My Games\Path of Exile").
Right now it depends on finding 234hn50987sd to know when the chaos recipe section starts and looks for 2345ina8dsf7 to know what line it stops at. 5head, I know.
So if you want to use your own filter, I can't guarantee anything. My best advice would be to look at the provided filter and where the chaos recipe is inserted and try to duplicate that in your own filter. Then put that custom filter into this directory and change the name below.

Changing the commented lines will break things, since it depends on the item class name in the commented lines.

Quad tab with the scroll organization template (google it :) can neatly fit 16 sets. After accumulating this number of items, that item slot taken off filter (Underdevelopment)

refresh_time(below): How often, in seconds, you expect the public stash to be updated.
After this period of time, the app re-downloads the stash info from the official site.
I think 30s is reasonable since that is about how long it would take to vendor an entire tab.
You can use values like 5-15s for debugging, but don't expect it to actually have updated in that time, you'll get a pop-up that says there's not enough items if you cycle through all the sets and try to start the cycle again before this amount of time.
But, if the website stash hasn't updated, it will highlight the same areas as before even after this amount of time.
APPARENTLY, you can force the web API to update by going to a different zone (i.e. one that needs a loading screen, seems like a plausible rumor)
Pushing the "Remove Highlights" should manually pull from the site and restart the cycle

When i type in the url myself it does work and returns what is in the quad tab.
help? somewhat of a newbie to this game and just found out about the chaos recipe and would really like to try it out.
