VolunteerTrack App

This app is a tracking app to help people who love to volunteer their time and money to several charitable organizations, and to see where they are having a positive impact. Once the user registers, he can keep track of his hours, mileage, and monetary contributions. This is a great way to keep that important tax information together, as well as a great way for the user to see which organizations are receiving the most support from him.

Base Features: Input field for mileage, hours volunteered, dollars contributed, for an organization, as he volunteers. Rolling YTD outputs for mileage, hours volunteered, and dollars contributed. Slider with links to two Nashville charities: HandsOnNashville and Nashville Rescue Mission for quick access to volunteer opportunities.

Stretch Features: Map with pushpins of volunteer opportunities available in a given zip code. Charts showing percentage of user’s time, mileage, and dollars per charity. Way for user to see how much of his time is spent on different types of charities, for example environmental causes, children’s charities, or homeless assistance charities.
