Description

Nutshell Cashew is a group exercise in full CRUD with Firebase.
Each member picked one page on a user dashboard--Diary, News, Events, or Messages-- and completed all the functionality for full CRUD for that page.
Tasks such as authentication, user name creation on first login, dashboard landing/home page, seed data, styling, refactoring, and Readme were then divided among and completed by various group members.
The project creates a user dashboard where the user can select a page, read their existing entries, add a new entry, edit and existing entry, or delete an existing entry.

Installation Instructions

• Clone down this repo
• At the root of the project, run npm install
• create a project in Firebase
• Add a web app to the project and enable Google authentication
• Create a real-time database and seed it with the data from the database directory
• add the keys for the project into apiKeys.json

  How To Run

• In terminal, type npm start
• To make a production build of this project, in terminal type npm run build--creates folder called build with all necessary minified code

  Deployment

• Deploy project using firebase
• To redeploy, run npm run deploy
