MARC 518 field #54

This field is not being converted, either as event information or as a generic note. It is crucial information for art catalogs and also very common in sound recordings.

I made 518 $ a into a note, but we are trying to map 033 and 518 into an Event. In your data, are 518 and 033 linked? For example, see this one: lccn.loc.gov/2011607344/marcxml

Thanks for the note .. ah, are the 033 and 518 linked ... sometimes yes. Most of our data comes from copy so it will depend on what they did. For ourselves, we would link.
