Is this library really on Hackage like the Readme suggests it? This package https://hackage.haskell.org/package/sdl2-image seems different than yours.

Hm, good point! I don't think I did close the loop on Hackage there, and someone else posted a different library. I'll reach out to them to see what should be done.
