Add reference to your sources #79

I am missing a lot of references to the claims you make in the handbook. You cannot state something without giving the reference to it. To quote the handbook in Why Open Data? just one example out of many:

Google Translate uses the enormous volume of EU documents that appear in all European languages to train the translation algorithms, thus improving its quality of service.

Where is this information taken from? Please back you claims up with references.

Just another example from Making things! Hackdays, prizes and prototypes that definetly needs a reference to its source:

The competition was open for 30 days and cost the DC government $50,000. In return, a total of 47 iPhone, Facebook and web applications were developed with an estimated value in excess of $2,600,000 for the local economy.
