This applies to:

How to make a support dump? You can find it in the "Tools" screen below the patch scripts. You'll find the filedump in the new .../support folder in the dump section of the SD card. Please zip the whole "support" folder and upload it to this thread. Screenshot

Hi, Attempted to patch for AA, Carplay, etc. on both 245 and 254 firmwares. Voice activation worked correctly. App connect menu is unblocked, but attaching a phone does nothing. (usb port is correct part, factory-fitted 6c0 035 249b) The installed fecs post-patch are 00040100 09400008 00050000 00030000

One possible issue, adaptation that won't change via vcds, ENG109862-ENG138662-Vehicle_configuration-Mirror_link,OFF

If you could offer any advice that would be great. :)

Hello,

I tried to patch the SWAPs to this unit and received an unknown file size error. I now have 4 bootloops, no sound, radio doesn't work and NAV button doesn't work but nav still works if you go to Menu>Navigation. I really hope you can help me out.

I tried to patch the SWAPs to this unit and received an unknown file size error. I now have 4 bootloops, no sound, radio doesn't work and NAV button doesn't work but nav still works if you go to Menu>Navigation. I really hope you can help me out.

Restore SWAP from the backup. Install the latest toolbox version and patch again.

Thank you for this information and thank you for your fast reply. I think I tried to restore SWAP backup and it said No Backup Found. It was very late in the evening and I could be wrong so I will try again now. If I have no backup, do you have any files I could use to restore it?

You have it because before patching Toolbox always creates a backup. Check backup folder on SD card.

Coming back to this after a few days off.

So my backups folder only has 2 folders: navigation & mirrorlink. Should there also be a SWaP folder?

I tried restoring these backups, they completed successfully but the stereo still has 4 boot screens in a row, no radio, no nav button and no sound. It didn't have these issues before trying to patch SWap. If there is anything else you can suggest I would really appreciate it.

This screenshot is useless without support dump. Please read the readme carefully.

Problem is solved...tried it a second time using the first option in the patch options. Today i started the unit and the voice respons is working.
