Credit Kudos has questions about how Barclays are going to manage mobile updates in this fashion in future - requiring users to always be on the latest version of the Barclays Mobile Banking application when that latest version is not released via the Play Store/Apple Store is an obvious problem, but for future updates is it expected that PSUs must always be on the latest version to access AIS and PIS services?
This would appear to place additional hurdles in the way of AI/PI provision of services when compared to traditional channels, which do not require this update.
Are any future OB-impacting changes going to have a reasonable window for PSUs to update their app software in, or are TPPs going to continue having their userbase temporarily locked out of AIS/PIS whenever new releases are pushed?
