I read this article rencently: https://docs.github.com/en/actions/migrating-to-github-actions/migrating-from-jenkins-to-github-actions and it seems pretty straighforward to cross the line.
THe obvious advantage being that we don't need to host the runners anymore. the also good one being that it's increasing integration in Github (see Arena that is already using it: https://github.com/openforis/arena).
