Should the model allow source/target/interpolation CRS to be a projection? #42

In abstract specification review CP notes:

I question supporting deformation models applied directly to projected coordinates. I can see problems where projection zones meet and I am not aware of any that have been implemented.

Meeting 25/10 - no reason to not include capability identified - not seen as much extra complexity.

This issue closed because: 1) There is no benefit in excluding projection coordinate systems 2) For near polar regions projection coordinates may be more suitable than a geographic coordinate system.
