Outstanding issues from comments in draft documents:
Survey models/proposed models not matched by specification:
Spatial methods other than gridded:
Interpolation methods other than bilinear:
latitude and longitude definitions rather than overuse abbreviations section in terms and definitions, CRS ...
Need to clarify in specification section that element not covering full extent
"practically identical", "within expected tolerance". "within the precision of the data".
"bilinear interpolation" Should provide opportunity to use others but not provide formulae. Notes to producer should provide reasons for bilinear.
In this meeting I hope to complete the (abstract specification draft document)[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SQyKtfiRtQecdGFKfWx32u2oZilHhXeaiVYV4zrI-K4/edit] in readiness for submission to OGC. I believe that to submit it we need for formally propose the specification as an OGC SWG (standards? working group), which we hopefully will do at the following meeting in May.
[x] review discussion points raised by Kevin and Richard in their reviews of the draft specification. You can see their comments, and particularly the unresolved comments, in the previous version of the draft document
[x] review the results of the survey that we originally did to check how well the specification aligns with those findings
[x] discuss what if anything might be missing from the specification, including the incomplete "terms and definitions" in section 4 of the document, in which I have added a few possible placeholders for terms that might need definition
