[DOC] Add documentation related to Cross Cluster Replication backward compatibility support #7832

What do you want to do?

Tell us about your request. Provide a summary of the request. Currently, for OpenSearch Cross Cluster Replication plugin, we do not have information on the backward compatibility support or the steps required to maintain compatibility during a version upgrade. It will be valuable if we can have this documented for future reference.

*Version: List the OpenSearch version to which this issue applies, e.g. 2.14, 2.12--2.14, or all.

What other resources are available? Provide links to related issues, POCs, steps for testing, etc. This question was raised in github ccr discussion and answered. This doc issue is raised as a result of that discussion.
