As discussed in previous project meetings (#37, #38), we are interested in crowdsourcing physical samples of additional compounds to screen that are related to Series 2. In addition to sending samples, the following two documents are needed:

  1. A donation spreadsheet is available for download which contains the shipping address and fields for relevant information that should be completed and returned either by email or by uploading to the GitHub repository.
  2. @mattodd to develop a standard agreement containing ownership details etc.

Any input about other steps to facilitate sample contributions can be discussed here.

A draft Google form for compound submissions is here: https://forms.gle/GKSqxvFTVohJKgnj8. In order to upload files via Google forms, the submitter must have a Google account. The files will show up in my Google drive as I am the author of the form.

So, steps in this process would be as follows.

  1. Submitter downloads and fills out the donation spreadsheet
  2. Submitter fills out Google form
  3. Submitter ships compounds to UCL.
  4. Compounds are received at UCL and checked before adding to the master OSA molecule list. The spreadsheet is uploaded to GitHub as a record of who submitted what.
  5. Compounds are tested.

Any input on whether this works, or how to make it better, is welcome!
