Developing a facet search UI POC

Following up to this issue on facet search data, the FE team should now think about a UI for the new feature. This ticket will capture all further discussion and implementation steps.

We had a brainstorming meeting on 23/04/24 and discussed to explore the API functionality first before finalising our thoughts. These are queries that can be useful for testing/investigation:

G1/S phase

Preliminary discussed with the team: the UI could re-use the search box already present within the AOTF table, adding the additional functionality that the facet search feature brings. The UI search could suggest matching results (similar to platform main search functionality) and the final search strings can be represented by chips in search box (discussed - max 10). Scoping to be expanded here.

@chinmehta Some comments on the facets functionality:

1) Categories list drop down should be different between disease and target page: see here for list of categories. On target page, we need just the two disease categories. On the target page, we need just the target categories.

2) Search Disease specific filter and Search Target specific filter text within the search box : target and disease should have lower case d and t.

3) Suggested TIP text

• Target page: Please search by disease or filter by disease category. Example: Measurement
• Disease page: Please search by target or filter by target category. Example: Enzyme
