As a developer, I want to merge sQTL and tuQTL colocalisation features because both measure alternative splicing, and combining them will reduce sparsity and enhance the contribution of these annotations.
Background
Currently, L2G has separate sets of features for colocalisation with sQTL (splicing QTL) and tuQTL (transcript usage QTL). However, tuQTL can be viewed as a type of sQTL, both related to alternative splicing events. Maintaining separate features for them leads to sparsity in the annotation matrix, limiting the contribution of splicing-related data.
Tasks
[ ] Merge sQTL and tuQTL features into a single "alternative splicing QTL" feature.
[ ] Ensure that both sQTL and tuQTL colocalization results are captured under the new feature.
