Impossible to launch the monitoring GUI twice #588

I discovered that the si_monitor real-time node status GUI will run
again from the oscar install wizard, located below Step 6 "Monitor
Cluster Deployment", if I delete the si_monitor.pid file located
in /var/run. A pain but at least it works w/o rebooting each time.

So it seems that we should check the status of the monitoring GUI and the PID file before to try to launch the GUI and maybe do some cleanup if needed.

Comment by valleegr on 31 Aug 2010 20:32 UTC It does not prevent the usage of the GUI, it is just inconvenient. So i update the ticket from bug to task.
