A left arm and associated GUI is under development. This addition should happen fairly soon.

We've developed the left-handed GUI and world but we haven't yet finished the model or the ability to change between handedness while Gazebo is running. Should we close this issue?

We may encounter left-handed amputees in research. Currently, the software only has right-handed functionality. A left hand .world file and right/left GUI toggle is needed for this reason. Adjunct to this, the GUI should be adapted for left handed participants. Adaptation of the GUI for left-handedness includes: changing the contact sensor hand model in the GUI to show a left hand; tasks called via the GUI should be able to be oriented for left-handed participants, so the objects are placed on the left side of the table.
