Can't open doors #2

Closed Avitale34 closed 3 years ago

Avitale34 commented 3 years ago

Seems like when I have this module installed I can not open doors with the newest update.

There is some warning message when you click the door ? or some exception on the browser ?

Avitale34 commented 3 years ago

No warning or error messages, and my players can't even see the doors at all to click on them.

What foundry version are you using ? The problem persist when you disable all the others modules (except lib-wrapper) ?

Avitale34 commented 3 years ago

I am using 7.9 and it does not work even when they are the only two mods.

I'm really sorry I can't replicate the error, the only other thing I can ask you is which browser and game system are you using?

Avitale34 commented 3 years ago

Chrome hosted on forge, dnd5e

p4535992 commented 3 years ago

Can I ask you to try on a foundry installed on the 127.0.0.1 network IP address locally? The only difference I can't test is a foundry allocated on forge.

I just migrated from the original module to this one and have found a similar problem: player level users can't open doors he they don't have a token selected. It's understandable but also a bit inconvenient, maybe the distance computation can be improved taking into account a token representing the player owned character (when nothing else is selected)

HOT FIXES IN VERSION 1.0.6 for Deuterazamus , if no token is selected i will try to get a owned token, you can disable this feature on the module settings if you like the old behaviour. Try out and let me know. I still haven't been able to replicate the error of Avitale34

Deuterazamus commented 3 years ago

Tried it out and like it very much. It also kinda fixes #3 that I just opened, since you were faster to fix this than I was to open that. Thank you

Closed because should be fixed with version 1.0.8, but free to reopen is still persist.
