1 month ago - Coppafish does not support more than 9 sequencing channels because of how the gene book is written (i.e. does "111" represent three 1 channels or would it represent channel 11 then channel 1, there would be no way of telling), as well as other issues within the codebase.
- A fairly simple way of fixing this is by giving every number in the string two characters, so "01" would represent channel 1, "11" would represent channel 11. This would allow for coppafish to support a maximum of 99 channels, more than enough for our needs.
