I've been wanting to give a talk titled "HSL -- the RGB you've been waiting for" which tries to get people to give up on RGB literals and use HSL ones and to think in HSL because it's super-easy and intuitive.
@visnup I dig it!
my in-progress blog post on the same topic: https://medium.com/p/7532924a6eb4
@visnup quite the cliffhanger :)
twist ending: LAB CIE!

I don't see much activity lately. It was a good idea. Any meetups lately in South Bay area?
Our first meetup was a success- Help us keep it up by submitting a presentation for next month!
How do I submit a talk? You can either comment on this issue or send us an email.
When and Where will it be? Wednesday February (2/25/16) Doors open 6pm Starts at 7pm Wraps at 9pm
Mozilla Corporation 331 Evelyn Ave Mountain View, CA 94040 Map
What should I talk about? Passion projects, stories of lessons learned, or any interesting web-related topic.
Do I need to be an expert to talk? Nope. This meetup is supposed to be fun and casual, so we want everyone to participate. We especially encourage people of underrepresented groups to apply.
How long should my talk be? Ten minutes. There won't be any formal Q&A.
What should be in my talk submission? Just a few sentences describing what you want to talk about would be great.
What's the A/V situation? We'll have a projector and a mic for you to use.
