[Moto G6 Plus][Evert][Quack v209] Fingerprint doesn't work #1072

Open ghost opened 4 years ago

ghost commented 4 years ago

As title says, fingerprint doesn't work, the fingerprint device itself is detected, however, trying to enroll the fingerprint is impossible as no finger is detected at all by the scanner. Android Quack, v209, no mods at all, version that includes gapps.

Same issue on Motorola Moto G7 Play with the same PHH-Enroll exception.

ghost commented 4 years ago

1073, do you have this issue too?

Dunedan commented 4 years ago

The Moto G7 Play doesn't come with NFC, so technically no I don't.

Hi, @MischievousTomato, does fingerprint work now? Or it's a general problem?

Another thing, does battery drain faster then stock rom?

ghost commented 4 years ago

@al-mat i haven't tested a pure gsi with the stock rom vendor, I discovered alongside others that if a custom rom is flashed first then a gsi, the gsi will have everything working, nfc, fingerprint, auto brightness. The custom rom I use is the los17 build for the g6 plus.

ghost commented 4 years ago

The battery life is pretty good, on par or even better than stock

al-mat commented 4 years ago

Where do I find this LOS? On XDA, the developer Jleeblanch will release a 17.1.

Dunedan commented 3 years ago

Using AOSP 11 300.l the fingerprint sensor works for me now on a Motorola Moto G7 Play.
