BOFH2k commented 4 years ago

List of issues for Mediatek Helio X20 (MT6797) on Pie:

  1. Increased standby drain, won't charge to 100%, no info on battery usage by app.
  2. Bluetooth won't activate (see #399 for details) -> fixed by MTK workaround in phh menu

I can confirm the bluetooth does not work in 9.0 (v123) (unable to turn on), but did work in 8.1 (V32)

Looks like similar for me too. BT cannot be enabled. Teclast m30/MT6797x (helio x27).

I find BT work swith, it's on phh treble settings > misc features > bluetooth workarounds > mediatek。

ghost commented 4 years ago

@kimk2010 Thank you. I've already found it and tried. It does not work for me.

ghost commented 4 years ago

it's on phh treble settings > misc features > bluetooth workarounds > mediatek After clean reinstalling aosp and turning on option, then reboot, it worked for me. Tnx.

BOFH2k commented 4 years ago

Yep, thanks. I can confirm BT works with that workaround!

BOFH2k commented 4 years ago

That leaves standby drain and charging issues.
