[Qualcomm] Datetime being reset after phone reboot #345

Open anon54382 opened 5 years ago

anon54382 commented 5 years ago

Build used: v108 system-arm-aonly-vanilla-nosu.img.xz Magisk: don't have

Steps to reproduce:

  1. turn off wifi and mobile data if turned on
  2. restart phone
  3. notice datetime went bonkers (different date and time, usually in past)

My datetime is set to sync as soon as internet connection is available - turning on wifi nearly immediately corrects date and time (until phone is rebooted).

Can this be merged to the mainline? I mean, all Qcom devices are affected as well (could confirm this issue on our Huawei Y6 (2018) with MSM8917).
