Equalizer works terrible on Galaxy M20 #625

In any GSI ROM the same thing happens and it is that when you activate the equalizer the volume of the audio goes down a lot and when I try to raise it is distorted.

Is it my cell phone problem? or is it also a problem about needing a kernel?

If you have Magisk installed, try installing Viper4Android or JamesDSP and test the sound quality.

Omg, iv'e installed Viper4Android XHIFI and it works, thank you very much

I think it's safe to close this issue.

I mean vanilla android has only the most basic functions so you shouldn't expect much from its equaliser.
