Photo booth stays black #92

Hi,

Can someone help me on this? I install this photo-booth on a laptop running an ubuntu desktop. I do not see an error in the terminal but the photo-booth application stays black

Hardware:

laptop - ASUS X455L - Intel core i3 - 8gb ram camera - Canon rebel T2i

OS - Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS
