            ptouch-driver

This is ptouch-driver, a printer driver based on CUPS and foomatic, for the Brother P-touch and QL label printer families.

ptouch-driver was originally developed by Arne John Glenstrup. Maintenance has (as of September 2015) been taken over by Phil Pemberton.

A significant code clean-up was done by Andreas Gruenbacher in May 2020.

See the file `INSTALL' for directions on how to install this software.

After installing, you will probably have to reload or restart CUPS.

This package contains the following directories:

. raster filter (rastertoptouch.c) driver foomatic driver XML files opt foomatic options XML files printer foomatic printer XML files

Please note: This software is not in any way related to Brother Industries, Ltd., except that it is intended for use with their products. Any comments to this software should NOT be directed to Brother Industries, Ltd.
