Hi!

thank you Serge for fixing the edi2eti converter. However it seems one of those streams (239.16.242.14:60014) still is a little different then all the other muxes and is not decoded. All those packets have fragement count=1

andimik commented 6 years ago

There is a new mux on the German EDI transponder:

dvbstream -f 12572000 -s 7940 8192 -p V -o | fedi2eti 101 239.192.254.200 10000 | ni2http --list shows:

Could anyone try the Mux on 4,8 East, 11862 V?

PID 100 has two IP addresses 239.0.0.1:5004 resp. 5005 and PID 200 239.0.0.2:5004 resp. 5005

Both have a CBR of 3,6 MBit each.

I have not found out with all our tools if this might be DAB.

PID HexPID Type Encrypted kbps Percent ServiceName
8191 0x1FFF Null - 55253.99 88.48 N/A
100 0x0064 Data - 3596.94 5.76 N/A
200 0x00C8 Data - 3596.72 5.76 N/A

https://we.tl/t-ijpt7SEf6n

With IPCleaner.exe (Windows tool) I could extract them. One of the ports (5004 or 5005) has the following bytes repeated every 4x16 bytes 4578FCE308180453464E000002 (the last word is SFN, so it might have to do with terrestrial broadcasting)

For IPCleaner see https://rickcaylor.websitetoolbox.com/post/show_single_post?pid=1290069426&postcount=34&forum=106995

pid_0x00C8.zip

The bitrates seem to be 0,14 resp. 3,46 MBit. Later one is not playable in VLC. For ETI or EDI it's too large.

Suggestions are welcome :-)

Also on 5W 11456H 2400 carries PID 101 with these radios

230.0.14.20:10100 Rire & Chansons
230.0.14.21:10100 NRJ

230.0.14.23:10100 Nostalgie
230.0.14.24:10100 Canal Evennementiel (Events channel)

These ones should feed the terrestrial transmitters, but mpe2aac cannot decode them.

andimik commented 5 years ago

According to https://www.worlddab.org/public_document/file/673/TRT_DAB_Pilot.pdf?1452776969 the Turkish DAB+ is also available via Satellit.

I will check in October on Turksat positions, but it might be the Asian beam ...

andimik commented 5 years ago

11552 H, 11608 H, 12655 V and 10952 V are likely the candidates. This weekend I try to find a place (thanks to the sun outage) where I could receive 42 East in my garden.

k-otixxx commented 5 years ago

I will search for 2-3 mbits stream on these transponders also!

andimik commented 5 years ago

They might be 900 kBit or so

andimik commented 5 years ago

I only can receive the Westbeam ...

On 10953 V I found a Transponder with a PID 1068 containing a 2 MBit stream.

Thank you @basicmaster (Stefan). But I already tried

ts2na -p 1068 -s0 | dablin_gtk

without any luck. Seems it's an ETI version that dablin (I use latest DABlin DABlin v1.9.0-10-g9d67cd1) does not accept:

Shame on me that I did not test it with ni2http in my hurry ...

But it's working in odr-dabmod and welle-cli :-)

The https://github.com/piratfm/eti-tools/blob/master/README.md has been changed.

basicmaster commented 5 years ago

The reason here is that DABlin expects frame-aligned ETI-NI (and apparently other tools, too). However this stream here starts in the middle of an ETI-NI frame. XPADxpert in contrast has no problem with such files and will open them.

For this particular dump, 3180 bytes have to be skipped before a new frame starts, so the following command line helps here:

(...) | dd skip=1 bs=3180 | dablin_gtk

Maybe I will change this requirement sometime. However it would break some things I currently do e.g. displaying a progress bar. Maybe a small separate tool makes more sense and could be used with more tools.

andimik commented 5 years ago

Thanks again. I see, so the 0x55 have to be skipped first.

image

Good to know for future investigations ...

basicmaster commented 5 years ago

It's rather skipping bytes until the ERR and the FSYNC field appear. FSYNC alternates between two specific patterns; see table 11 in ETS 300 799. In this case, the pattern 0xF8 C5 49 is present and before it, ERR is 0xFF (= error level 0; see table 2).

MCelliotG commented 5 years ago

Anybody have experience with French DAB+ satellite feeds, probably on 5W?

andimik commented 5 years ago

Not found so far. But you can certainly help us and search for it ...

Note: All remaining might be fed via Microlink or Internet.

k-otixxx commented 5 years ago

Yesterday Serbia starts first DAB Mux from Avala near Belgrade. I will search 16 E and 1 W where have serbian DTH Services ....

andimik commented 5 years ago

I personally don't expect any new mux to be found.

andimik commented 5 years ago

Now I found out what is on Astra 4.8 East. This is SR P1 and SR P3 (which are not FTA over satellite, see https://www.lyngsat.com/freeradio/Sweden.html !).

sweden_on_astra4east.zip

See https://github.com/piratfm/eti-tools/files/2382382/pid_0x00C8.zip (older file).

I managed by loading it as 192 kHz mono 16 bit. This makes most sense.

Looks like the UK streams on Astra 28.2 have gone at 11425H :( Can anyone else confirm this is definitely the case and the format hasn't just changed or if it's gone to a completely different transponder?

andimik commented 5 years ago

Could you share a ts file with the complete transponder? Some seconds are enough.

The problem is that you might be the only one here to receive this as it is the UK beam.

jay-to-the-dee commented 5 years ago

Okay weirdly enough the whole transponder seems to disappear and reappear at different times of day and I have now got it working at around 7pm GMT! This would explain it's disappearance on KingOfSat too. https://en.kingofsat.net/tp.php?tp=732. Any ideas of why this might be the case?

andimik commented 5 years ago

As you really live in UK I have no idea what could be the reason.

For people from the continent fading on 28,2 is normal as satellites are moving around (like an 8)

German DAB+ signals at Eutelsat 7 East (12572 V.) have changed its Symbol Rate. Now it's 10215. 2 more muxes have been added. 239.132.1.51 (Baden Württemberg Nord 9D) 239.132.1.52 (Rheinland-Pfalz 11A) ports 5004.

I've lost Turkey's TRT DAB+ Signal on Türksat 10954 V 1800 3/4. My dish size at this orbital position is small (60 cm), but I've got no problems until now. Could anybody check if it's still there ?

jpuigs commented 5 years ago

Signal was back yesterday, but I think it's weaker than before.

jpuigs commented 5 years ago

I've seen there is one missing Satellite DAB+ feeed on readme.md It's the greek ERT DAB signal, which is (besides Eutelsat 3B) on Hellas Sat 3 @ 39 East too, freq. 12223 Hor. DVB-S2 QPSK, 13380 3/4, on PID 1010, working with tsniv2ni.

andimik commented 5 years ago

Thanks for the report. As the TP seems to be a 1:1 copy from Eutelsat 3 East, this makes sense ...

https://github.com/piratfm/eti-tools/blob/master/README.md has been changed.

jpuigs commented 5 years ago

I've read today at flysat.com, that ERT package has left that Tp. at Eutelsat 3 east. I have no access to that orbital position, so I can't check it.

andimik commented 5 years ago

Yes, unfortunately that's correct. They made a complete switch over to the new satellite position.

There is no signal on this TP any more. README.md has been changed.

Because they are not AAC. If you use mpe2mpa instead of mpe2aac you'll hear them. Last one (event) is deleted.

The last ones, German ones at 7 East, are not right all of them. Here are the correct ones:

You are right! Thanks for the correct lines.

EuroDAB Italia and DAB Italia have left Eutelsat @ 12.5 West, 12518 H., now only available @ 5 West.

andimik commented 5 years ago

Thanks for the update. I will fix the list in a few days.

ERT DAB Feed has changed frequency on HellasSat 3 , from 12223 H to 12242 H. Symbol Rate, FEC, modulation & PID remain unchanged.

Regarding NRK on 0.8 West:

If someone wants to try to decode anything from this pcap-file (loopback from upd://127.0.0.1:5018 thru Crazyscan and TBS 6903X)

https://transferxl.com/08jjqxvXL3WzcJ (available till 7th July) 1 minute capture, 61,3 MByte, zipped

If you open that in a hexeditor, you can read some Norwegian text in the EPG like

Sesongfinale for NRK Klassisks musika

grafik

Transedit thinks this is a TS and displays a (fake??) PID

grafik

I could not lock it under Linux, maybe the signal is too bad or szap-s2 cannot handle that ...

So I could not find any IP addresses in Wireshark :-(

Yes, you can see it in http://www.digitalbitrate.com/dtv.php?liste=1&live=72&lang=en&mux=12241 (new TP) and http://www.digitalbitrate.com/dtv.php?liste=1&live=72&lang=en&mux=12223 (old TP), scroll down to "This Mux has Ghost PIDs : total bitrate of these PIDs"

If someone still wants to try the capture of NRK (download possibility expired yesterday), just tell me and I will share it again.

Seems that Thailand will use EDI via Satellite for future trial sites: Page 7 of https://www.itu.int/en/ITU-D/Regional-Presence/AsiaPacific/Documents/Events/2014/December-DR-Thailand/Session4A_Les_Sabel.pdf

And on the Australian Satellite OPTUS C1/D3 at 156°E (12567 >> SBS_SID301, it contains lots of Radio services) there are more than 2 MBit of ghost PIDs which might contain a DAB feed: http://www.digitalbitrate.com/dtv.php?mux=12567&pid=301&live=87&sec=0&lang=en

Both satellites cannot be received in Europe, of course.

Also on 5W 11456H 2400 carries PID 101 with these radios

230.0.14.20:10100 Rire & Chansons
230.0.14.21:10100 NRJ
230.0.14.22:10100 Chérie
230.0.14.23:10100 Nostalgie
230.0.14.24:10100 Canal Evennementiel (Events channel)

These ones should feed the terrestrial transmitters, but mpe2aac cannot decode them.

Because they are not AAC. If you use mpe2mpa instead of mpe2aac you'll hear them. Last one (event) is deleted.

Although these are feeds for the French FM networks rather than DAB ones, they're still interesting!

I found out how they provide the RDS data for the FM transmitters over these DVB-IP feeds too - it's contained in the RTP packet headers, including data for scrolling PS and RT.

350G-EAZPS_SCROLL=0,0,0,2,Demain -- BIGFLO & OLI - PETIT BISC NRJ NRJ NRJ -> Demain -- BIGFLO & OLI - PETIT BISC NOSTALGIE -> AFRIQUE ADIEU - MICHEL SAR

I think this is probably done on the Portuguese stations on Hispasat 12529V as well - these feed the transmitters in Portugal for Rádio Comercial etc. I know Comercial has Radio Text displaying the currently playing song so this data must be somewhere in the satellite stream too!

Does someone know why on the 7 East German EDI Transponder one stream (239.192.254.200) has twice as much packets than the others?

jpuigs commented 5 years ago

I think it may be that this hr-radio stream has more PAD than the other ones….

andimik commented 5 years ago

Could someone from Western Europe check if the two streams on 28,2 East have ceased or only changed the transponder?

Today I was at a friend who has a 4.5 m dish in Austria, and the UK beam can be received, but on the given TP there are no DAB signals at all.

jpuigs commented 5 years ago

Sorry, I'm in North Spain, and can't receive UK beam with 1.2 meter dish.
