You could have Binoculars as an optional NPC.

Binoculars is a reporter trying to get the scoop on the new OSO gameshow and attempts to make an impromptu interview about any gossip with Posty (maybe after she delivers the butterflies but before napping on the bench).

Insert nosy journalist joke.

this is a decent idea. im holding off on adding binoculars for now for a couple reasons

it would be trivial to add them whenever the time comes
im considering using them as an entry point for the secret ending that chat was discussing, if we end up still doing that
