when changing 'dim', I get "scope3d~: no method for 'float'"

also, the signal does not adjust to the size anymore and clips! :/

performance is definitely worse and it really feels to me that the x/y dimensions are swapped... shouldn't 'x' be horizontal axis and 'y' vertical?
