Fixed a few bugs, implement dialog for 'open' message #2121

linux build fails, and cool about the dialog, but maybe not necessary...

i guess I need now to include this in other compiled objects that could be pertinent as well, so could be a shared code if we do it

my fix compiles for me but linux build still fails
