RE4 crashes after alt-tabbing with RE Framework active (Borderless screen) #750

Describe the bug After launching the game, I alt-tab and wait a few seconds. When I try to go back to the game, it closes. It doesn't even create a crash file. That doesn't happen without REF.

Upload logs and any crash dumps 'reframework_crash.dmp' file not available.

Identify the REFramework version a58158f

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch the game
  2. Alt-tab on any screen (in-game or on the menu)
  3. Wait a few seconds and try to click on the game's icon on the taskbar again
  4. Game closes

Expected behavior Game should show up on screen again

Update: It also happens when you pause the game for a few seconds and don't minimize it.
