response paylods not always well formatted #101

Some devices, which do not calibrate, send inconsistently formatted payloads... this leads others to trying to index strings with strings, because they are expecting a dictionary.

This should be done with a payload class to be used by the message class

I think that resolving #118 also closes this issue
