Purge deprecated Connection class #97

Name says it all, just want to make the code DRY and use of that class isn't. Anything that that class does should be achievable using Service or something that inherits from it.

This is done, the daq_run_interface required changes that should be tested and may require some debugging. Since I'm not in lab and don't know what's going on I'm not going to risk disrupting anything just yet.
