updates for latest firmware #31

Slight modifications to work with the latest firmware. Should be backwards compatible. Main thing was the unauthenticated response changed so it was not logging in.

Hey, thanks a lot for your PR! I ran the new code and tests locally with the old firmware, and it is backwards compatible indeed ;)

I assume you did the same for the new firmware, therefore I will merge it. Thanks again!
