Remove all the big, bloated apps, replace with smaller, more lightweight alternatives

Note somewhere in the README what constitutes a good program for Puppy Linux:

easy to use and useful to users
as portable as possible:
- as few dependencies as possible
- easy to install and uninstall
as lightweight as possible:
- low CPU and RAM usage
- small package or download size
