Pure Storage FlashArray adapter for Cisco UCS Director
Overview
The FlashArray UCS Director adapter helps automate FlashStack deployments. FlashStack is a converged infrastructure reference architecture from Pure Storage that includes Cisco Unified Compute System (UCS), Cisco Nexus ethernet and MDS Fibre Channel switches.

Supported Storage Version
Any FlashArray Hardware running:
- Purity 4.x
- Purity 5.x
- Purity 6.x
Deploy/Modify the Pure Storage Connector
- Log in to Cisco UCS Director by using the Admin role credential
- In Cisco UCS Director, from the Administration menu, select Open Automation
- On the Connectors tab, click Add or Select Existing Connector and Click Modify
- Click Open. Select the PureStorageUCSDirectorAdapter v3.1 (UCSD 6.7.2).zip
- Click Upload, and then click Submit
- If the connector is not listed as Enable, select the newly added psucs module and Click **Enable
- Use SSH to connect to the Cisco UCS Director instance and log in as shelladmin
(Default password is changeme)
- To enable the Pure Storage Connector, stop all services (option 3), and then restart all
services (option 4)
- [Optional when deploying/updating to v3.1 connecter] Go to the Physical→
Storage→FlashArray account’s edit/modify button and provide the correct FlashArray IP Address

- Note: After Cisco UCS Director becomes available, be sure to check that the Pure Storage Connector is Enabled/Active.
