Tried to install this on QGIS 3.6 Noosa. The plugin is not available in the plugin repository, nor will the manual install work. I always get the error, that this verison is only compatible with 2.0 - 2.99

I used v0.3. It works fine on 2.8 tho.

Thanks for reporting. I ran into some issues awhile back when porting the extension from QGIS2 to QGIS3, so I put it on the backburner until the documentation had stabilized a bit and I had some time to go through the process again. Will attempt again in the near future. In the meantime, pull requests are welcome!

I solved the problem. I thought i had to use the .zip which was in 'dist'.

When you zip the folder 'encodedpolylineexporter' and use it, then everything works.

You might even want to update the plugin in the QGIS Repository. It still has the old version: https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/encodedPolyline/
