[MegaIssue] Inability to send pictures on WhatsApp

Bug I can't send/upload on whatsapp any pictures after jailbreak. I can receive and download any media and send also vocal messages. The only problem is when i try to send an image.

Device:

• iOS Version: 13.1.3
• iOS Device: iPhone 11
• unc0ver Version: 4.0.2

suggestions How can i send you the logs?

Istread of just commenting here u use unc0ver and then click on settings top left on unc0ver under battery then special thanks there all unc0ver delvlopers and testers tell them it’s issue on iOS 13.0-.13.1.-13.2 every 13.3 users not face it so personal tweet them as I do if u all try maybe it’s fix in next version

Same issue here with Xs running 13.1.3. I tried to disable tweak injection in WhatsApp with TweakRestrictor but it doesn’t work.

I found a workaround for images but its a bit tedious, photos can be shared using Google Photos.

I have same issue with checkra1n jb. I am on Iphone X with ios 13.3.1 . For me its even worse that whatspp doesnt opens after trying to send pic. The only option is to reboot and rejailbreak again.

checkra1n will work with iPhone X or older. It will not work with newer phones such as iPhone XS or iPhone 11

This is helpful. I can send up to 5 photos from Google Photos by "share to ..." whatsapp But it doesn't work with videos Also the photos quality will be less than when you send directly from whatsapp

Please use the latest version of the Antwerp application, delete the original WhatsApp, and download the existing WhatsApp image, the first one (Uncover 4.3.1) Watusi for whatsapp+ stalky Please try and answer me

It could be work. I'm not sure. But this will lead to lose your backup and start with new WhatsApp. I'm not ready for that. I need the WhatsApp with the history

Same boat as you guys.. I recently bought a iPhone 11 that came with 13.1.3 and the 13.3 signing window was already closed :(

What I've figured out is that I can forward any video (from Telegram, for instance) to myself on Whatsapp and it goes well. But if I select any other contact the issue appears. If I forward from Telegram and select 2 or more contacts on WA, myself included, it will send just to me, and it throws error to the others.

+1.Anyone have any idea what’s really happening inside our phones(i’m on 13.1.3) different than a jb on 13.3?maybe the dev cannot adress this problem(he knew from the start or worse,whatsapp and video call in instagram[someone said above]and god knows what other were collateral victims,also i cannot find updates for ios without installing any OTAdisabler)this would explain the lack of commitment to this problem.Why would data flow be restricted?if they don’t help we should try to help ourselves...any opinions?in my opinion on our ios whatsapp needs to create some temporary files before sending the media,somthing tht when we send videos/gif/documents we cannot control cuz after they load they send instantly,any way to make tweak that delays the sending process? Someone with experience please consult more deeper the problem around this fact(delay will make it happen and what the delay really does!)Could it be connectivity problem?Permissions problems? P.S. : you can select any number of photos,just wait a little and then send

I have the same problem. Found a workaround for images it works almost every time. While sending images put dots I usually put three dots ‘...’ in the description of image.

Ok, I discovered something unusual and might help to analyze this issue. I disabled auto respreing option from unc0ver and hit the jailbreak button. then I got the window where it says OK -to respring- and view log.

I did not press on OK and switch to Whatsapp, WA CRASHED IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!! I tried to open Whatsapp multiple times but the same result, it Crashes immediately I have a whatsapp duplicate installed which has the same problem of not sending stickers while phone is jailbroken, it worked normally and send media + stickers normally!

afterward, I pressed [OK] in Unc0ver. Original Whatsapp from appstore opened without crash but no luck with sending media. Duplicate whatsapp stopped sending media and stickers after the respring!

I am suspecting that it is permission issue since whatsapp crashed at opening, i'm not sure.

Moreover, any picture can be send if you wait around half a minute, While videos and stickers cannot send what so ever

The other possibility is to download a Whatsapp ++ / Watusi that is from an online store and that the notifications work, I have tried many and they have not worked for me. but there is one of fouad that seems to work ..... and wait for unc0ver to update. but the jailbreak cannot be used that way. thanks

You just need to use the app I unjailbroken then after your done jailbreak again it’s really not his problem that your app doesn’t work which is sometimes because your jailbroken and the app can tell

Did you find any solution with jailbroken device? Because i used checkra1n on iphone 7 plus 13.2.3 with no issue with WhatsApp at all.. This issue is with unc0ver jailbreak

Yea you know why it’s a much better jailbreak which also exploits kpp so yea much better app support I always recommend people to use checkm8 if they can only use uncover if you have to I.e a12 and a13 I use both and I first hand see the difference in quality of the jailbreak

I think uncover is the worst jailbreak i have ever used semi jailbreak the best was Electra ok to be fair pangu was the worst uncover 2nd just because I use it daily on my xr

4.3.1 is the only version I been ever to use I was a beta tester before 4.0.0 and I was using my beta version till 4.3.1 because it’s the first one that worked correctly and mostly about 75% of the time

Fun fact: you can still send stickers and videos to yourself in Whatsapp (same number activitied) and it will be send normally as chatting with your own number doesn’t require any conniction
