Unable to sign up for Quarto Pub with GitHub #1525

Hello, when I tried to sign up for Quarto Pub with GitHub here, https://quartopub.com/sign-up, I was first taken to the GitHub landing page to approve access to my GitHub account, but following that the page does not allow me to sign in. Is signing in with GitHub enabled at this time?

Hi! Sorry you're having a problem. I've just verified that our GitHub sign up works with one of my test accounts, so the scenario itself appears to be working. We're aware of an issue a few people have had using Firefox. Apparently, Firefox's Advanced Tracking Protection is interfering in the sign up.

Are you using Firefox?

Hello, thank you very much for your response — you were correct, I was using Firefox, and it worked when I used Safari. We can consider this issue closed.

If a follow-up feature request is possible, it would be great if there was a way the browser could be detected, and/or if there was a notification or clickable help popup on the sign up / login page warning against possible browser issues.
