In commit messages we use present tense as if the sentence "This pull request is to" was added before the message (e.g., "This PR is to Remove microbenchmark.R file")
I changed the first message of this PR so that the "magical word" "resolves" was next to the issue number. This creates a link between PR and issue.
The CI failures are due to unfinished function renaming and nothing to do with this PR. I'll merge this after I finish the renaming.
This PR resolves #36.
