I think something is up with the repo that it checks because the last few days it’s been failing.

Так и пиши автору РЕПО или используй другой адрес. Ошибка не имеет никакого отношения к DBI.

Surely if it’s built into your app you should update it to the right repo no? Why is that up to the end user to sort out.

Нет. У меня всё работает. Не нравится подход - используй другой софт.

What a dickhead of a developer. Attitude sucks.. it was just an observation to say it failed don’t have to get up all up on your high horse
