Unclear MTP behavior regarding gamecard games #301

DBI ver: 640-en

I have Atelier Ryza 3 on gamecard, and it has an update and several pieces of DLC installed.

When I access the Switch using MTP, I don't see a folder for this game, nor for any game that I own on a game card. I can dump the files using the context menu while in Browse Installed Applications, but I feel like I used to be able to see them in the MTP window as well.

Has this functionality been moved somewhere else?

Did you check if "Gamecard" is turned on under "MTP storages" in the DBI configuration? Normally its turned off (don't ask me why).

Gamecard is turned on, but that won't help me -- that will only show me the XCI file that's literally on the card, not the update and any DLC packages on my NAND/SD card.

Also ran into this, have to use nxdumptool seperately to dump updates and DLC for cart games.

I have the same issue. I currently have to go to Browse Installed Applications, find the cart game and Dump to SD card to get the Updates and DLC for cart games.

This is really not ideal especially if the SD card is too full to dump the updates and DLC.
