Overview

There are a lot of apps and websites on the market serving several different audiences. We have Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram.

In fact, the universe of people’s interests, occupations, and hobbies is much wider and more sophisticated than it has ever been. There will always be room for another platform to unite people that have a common devotion.

This is an application for users of all ages to find friends, share whatever they have on their minds, and watch their favorite YouTube videos.

Live Demo

This project has been deployed to Heroku.
This code should connect mongoose to your remote mongolab database if deployed, but otherwise will connect to the local mongoHeadlines database on your computer.

How this app works

Whenever a user visits this site, the user will be redirected to the homepage.

The user will have two options: sign in or sign up. For the sign up, the user will need to enter a name, email and password. For the sign in option, user will need an email and password. If those are incorrect, there will be a message that says "Email and password don't match."

After the user signs in, the navigation menu will show a few options:

- Home: Here is where users can find the newsfeed, where they can post comments, where they can see comments from other users, and where they can connect with one another.
- My Profile: It will have the user's name and email, the date when the user joined the app, and the posts they have made. They will also be able to see the people they are following, and the people that follow them.
- Videos: Where the user can search for youtube videos.
