Retrobattle README

This is a very brief readme, but it will hopefully help you somewhat.

Compiling

  1. Get remar2d and retro $ git clone git://github.com/remar/remar2d.git $ git clone git://github.com/remar/retro.git

  2. Make remar2d $ cd remar2d/src $ make

  3. Make retro $ cd ../../retro/src $ make

Compiling without SDL_Mixer

If you don't have SDL_Mixer you can compile without sound by doing two simple things:

  1. Edit the makefile in retro (retro/src/Makefile), uncomment the first LIBS line and comment the second LIBS line
  2. Edit SoundManager.h (retro/src/SoundManager.h) and uncomment

    define NO_SDL_MIXER

Run

  1. To run, simply run the executable in retro/src $ cd retro/src $ ./retro
