Event is still happening in Guayaquil Ecuador and the site is down. Maybe someone introduced an error? Anyways, we get Error 404. I dont have my laptop here to correct the bug. Since I dont have the environment setup in the lab where the event is happening, it´s not easy for me to debug and see what is going on with the page. can someone help us? Hi Ivan,

It looks like this is the case for all ResBaz sites being hosted from the domain:

https://feb2016.resbaz.com/

There don’t appear to have been any changes introduced into the github repo recently that would cause this sort of problem across all sites, so it seems more likely that there has been a configuration change on the webserver.

I’ve cc’d Damien in Melbourne to see if he can help - will also post on gitter.

Hope your ResBaz is going will despite this!

Cheers

Mik

This might be a config issue with github moving to jekyll 3 - sites are still visible with urls ending in .html instead of the trailing slash.

mikblack commented 8 years ago

Thanks Sam - I didn't think to try that.

Ivan - for now the best option is probably to use these links:

https://feb2016.resbaz.com/guayaquil-es.html https://feb2016.resbaz.com/guayaquil-en.html

Cheers

You can also just remove the trailing slash so it doesn't look for a directory

https://feb2016.resbaz.com/guayaquil-en and https://feb2016.resbaz.com/guayaquil-es

work for me, but if I add the trailing slash it's 404 (same for "perth" and "perth/")

@philippbayer Nice solution. I've removed the trailing slash from all the links on the website so everything seems to be working fine now.

@ivansanchezvera Apologies for these issues during your event! I hope everything went well :-)
