nickjrnl not able to start playback (channel.nick.nickjr.nickjrnl) #1382

Bug report

Describe the bug

Nickjrnl content cannot play.

Expected Behavior

Nickjrnl content plays.

Actual Behavior

Streaming does not start. Content delivery issue.

Possible Fix

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start retrospect
  2. Go to kids section
  3. Select NickJr
  4. Try to play some recording

Additional information

I have tried to load a random movie from the web site in a browser, and those play fine there.

Please attach a full DEBUG retrospect.log file as requested. So please enable debug logging within Retrospect (via add-on settings), reproduce the problem and then upload the log file with the built-in functionality. Then post the correct link here (please double check that the link works).

Please try this fix for Kodi Leia (not yet Matrix, I will update that one after I now this works):

Thanks for the fix. It worked under kodi matrix. Unfortunately, I do not have any leias around, and having all my linuxes on GNU/Gentoo made me reluctant to recompile for the sake of testing on leia. So I applied your changes to the kodi-matrix branch and tested it. It worked.

Pull request https://github.com/retrospect-addon/plugin.video.retrospect/pull/1383 addresses it.

Once again, thank you for the quick response and the resolution! This issue can now be closed.

Great. I will merge stuff then and update the Matrix branch. For that I won't use your PR as things work slightly different for the Matrix branch (it basically master with some minor patches)
