This is awesome! Thanks Danieler. Working on Windows and Android.
Bas, maybe there should be some explanation to the IP input box for the HTTP-header? Maybe change the wording to, in Swedish, "Inställningar för Kanaler" (Settings for Channels) to "IP för X-Forwared-For (se geoblockerade kanaler utomlands)" (IP for X-Forwarded-For (watch geoblocked channels abroad)). Either way, "Kanaler" should be changed to "kanaler" (lower case k).
For me, ".:Live-TV:." is last in the listing with it set to "Name". If that's not only for me - ie I've fucked up :) - could this be changed? It would be best to have it first.
Lastly, for TV4s listings ÅÄÖ and numbers have their own folders. Could this be accomplished to SVT too?

The "Channel settings" can have more then just the Spoof IP settings. That is why they are called Channel Settings in the broad sense of the meaning. Some Dutch channels have more settings there.
Besides that: "IP for X-Forwarded-For (watch geoblocked channels abroad)" really emphasises what it does and that is something that TV4Play does not want you to do! So I kinda want to give it a general name that tells you what it is without making it too obvious: the "Local IP". But perhaps "Redirect IP" or something would be better? All suggestions are welcome.
Sorting is out of my hands. Kodi sorts folders first, then files/streams. That is why the live stream, which is the only none-folder, is at the bottom. But just go "up" on the top item in the list and you will arrive at the bottom.
Regarding the ÅÄÖ: although it does seem that it should be the same, it isn't. I do the grouping in the code and do it based on the first character. However, for TV4Play those are the actual ÅÄÖ chars, but SVT uses HTML entities (ÅÄÖ). I could first convert them to the actual characters and then group them. However, that would require me to convert 200+ items which is, especially on lower end machines such as the rPi, slow. So I only convert those items that I send to Kodi for displaying. So for now, I was not planning on converting them. What I could do for more consistency, is always make it A-Z/0-1/Others for all channels and don't create groups with ÅÄÖ, but I guess that is going the wrong way for you all.

Oh! Actually both the tab and the setting for the spoof-IP is called "Inställningar för Kanaler". I meant the latter.
I understand the problem with that this is not something that's entirely legal or maybe not at all. I guess if it's made too public, SVT, the TV3 and TV4 groups will notice and get rid of this possibility. My thought on changing the name was to make it more understandable what it is, but I guess writing it out in clear would maybe cause the channel groups to notice it quicker.
I can tell you there's LOADS of people searching for a way to watch Swedish TV abroad. I know from Googleing before finding the X-Forwared-For solution. I'm guessing this goes for all countries with "Play" channels (why they choose the word play, which is not Swedish beats me). While I would want to help Swedes, it's not good if spreading it means it will eventually be shut down.
"X-Forwarded-For IP" would maybe do it? Is there a FAQ or help section for Retrospect, where this could be explained? It would make it easier, but not too easy to find. I just Googled it and my first post in the discussion thread showed up, so that may be info enough.
About the sorting: Ok. SVTs' way is stupid for us, but the correct way to do it. If converting them would mean a hassle for low end devices, it's better to stay with the current sorting. I think it's good the way it is then. When we reach like a 100 channels it might be good to have absolute consistency. :)
As always, thanks for your hard work!
EDIT: Don't forget to change "Inställningar för Kanaler" to "Inställningar för kanaler".

Ok, I will see how to rename the setting for "X-Forwarded-For IP".
Regarding the "Inställningar för Kanaler" section (not the tab), it could have much more settings. Have a look at the NPO.nl channel. It has other settings there. So the "Inställningar för Kanaler" tab has a section for channel selection, a section with generic "Inställningar för Kanaler" and a section for proxy selection for that channel.
I am updating the configuration documentation: http://www.rieter.net/content/2014/11/01/how-to-configure-xot/ but it is a lot of work. And besides that, every time I have it up to date, they change :D

Well done! Just got live update.

Hey Bas! First of all thank you for this awesome plugin and your work. I've just recently discovered Retrospect and find it a lot better than other plugins. Actually, it's the one and only for play content. I live in Malta and have been using IPTVxtra DK-SE-NO for a while to watch Swedish channels, including TV4. IPTVxtra's live stream URLs can be found in the attached .py file. There are a lot of Norwegian and Danish channels which could be added too. The live stream for TV4 has an X-forwarded-For HTTP header added to the end to enable watching from abroad. I miss TV4 live streamed in Retrospect. Would it be possible to add? The IPTVxtra repository can be found here and I've attached the .py for DK-SE-NO: http://www.iptvxtra.net/index.php/xbmc-media-center PS There are also IPTVxtra UKTVxtra which for example gives all BBC channels and CNN. All watchable from abroad."
