https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/15fhDbQnJXuXDXNRRSUG8C706sWCBsGw-?usp=sharing With the February file, when I go to set the image, it works just fine. However, when I go to set the April file, it just sets my desktop to the default Ventura one.

It seems like it could be a macOS version problem (13.2.1)...

same for me on 13.0.1. metadata is ok tho - seems like something happens under the hood on the macOS side. maybe you have reached some sort of limitation? 😅

Macintosh-Fan commented 1 year ago

It seems like a limitation to the file size, since anything under 2 GB (technically, probably 2^31 bytes) seems to work for me. However, when I set a smaller version of the image (I just uploaded it to Google Drive), the desktop does not show anything; just, a black desktop.

Though, I did try to convert the original PNGs to a lower quality version of JPEGs, and that seemed to work ok. It's weird, since the February image in Google Drive originally came from PNGs...
