sorry for the wrong location of the reported problem

Serpent 52-g4.8.win32-git-20211113-f94c0da-uxp-eedc02ee9-xpmod (I also checked some earlier versions - same) crashphoto00

I wanted to play with my photos in photos.google.com

still in the summer everything was working 👍 - I was playing with this option (again G .. something changed or a bug in js)

winxp32sp3 gpu accelerated on / off no difference (gpu VRAM 1GB) RAM free 1.2GB + page file + DEP (cpu supports .../SSE/SSE2/SSE3/SSSE3/...)

javascript.options.wasm without this option, nothing happens

yes I know javascript.options.wasm_baselinejit false - maximum use of physical memory is 0.8GB and free 1.2GB and its not working

eh ... not so long ago (in summer) this option for photos worked well

again G .. something changed or a bug in js

it doesn't matter since NSS version bumped but I didn't rebuild the whole thing. it doesn't affect the usage.

extensions.getAddons.link.url

if you removed this in about:config, that page may not work properly

works fine (only i have deleted some url - it's possible that scripts can't handle an empty url)

first mistake when I enter about:addons (works well)

this 2 error occurs when the add-ons installation warning message is displayed ( i always installs add-ons from local disk) (works well)

There aren't many changes between 29.4.4 and 29.4.5, and one of them was a ported patch from Mozilla dealing with cache (as a defense-in-depth, so entirely optional) which may simply not play nice with our code. I'll try reversing this and see if cache behaves better.

I've confirmed the suspected Mozilla patch to be the culprit. Reversing it solves the general performance issues of having to re-fetch things a lot of times because caching went wrong, and considering this has a big impact on performance and general operations, I'll be rolling out an out-of-band release with priority tomorrow.

I doubt if you really replaced all files from 7z archive to your installation, since byte sequence 025de166 c70090649303 mov dword ptr [eax],0x3936490 is not found.

I unpacked to an earlier version with all files overwritten maybe the add-on had an influence on it GitHub/GitLab Web Components Polyfill 1.2.18.3 uBlock Origin 1.16.4.30

with some preliminary testing, it seems that #2150 fixed the issue, my reverted changes are reverted and landing upstream fix for both UXP and BK55.
