should be able to achieve mean = 0 at the very least, with marginal improvement on STD.

if that still does not work, will need to characterize gradients better to see if they are actually linear #16 which is dependent on #2 so that you could more adhoc test random things...

with longer delta TE and phase unwrapping to enable that, the results look more promising but are still not there. the standard deviation drops almost exactly as much as expected, without much fail. the only thing is that the mean is still quite off from 0... maybe i am missing something in my assumptions...

think this is getting solved currently with #20, #31, and #28
